Featured Collaboration: Research Visitors, Drs. Jörg & Sabine Goldhahn, ETH Zurich

The KTP is pleased to welcome research visitors Drs. Jörg and Sabine Goldhahn through August 28, 2026.

Details:

  • Dr. Sabine Goldhahn is programme manager and lecturer for the MAS ETH in Digital Clinical Research at ETH Zurich, where she develops postgraduate education in digital clinical trials. She also leads communication teaching in the Bachelor’s programme in Human Medicine and serves on the ETH Zurich Ethics Committee. She is also founder of GOLDHAHN GmbH, a consultancy focused on science communication and dialogue between science and society. Her experience spans medicine, clinical research, journalism, and strategic communication.
  • Sabine would be interested in discussing postgraduate teaching strategies, stakeholder engagement amid information overload, and ways to translate scientific knowledge for the public in areas prone to misinformation, such as allergies and vaccinations.
  • Dr. Jörg Goldhahn is an adjunct professor for translational science at ETH Zurich and leads the undergraduate training for human medicine. In addition, he serves as the deputy head of the Institute for Molecular and Translational Medicine. He is an MD by training with a postgraduate education in medical physics. He is heavily engaged in clinical trials with a specific focus on digital biomarkers.
  • Jörg would be interested in discussing how AI will impact medical education and how we can train the next generation of physicians; how digital biomarkers will shape medica treatment in the future; and whether silent trials can help generate evidence in the era of AI.
