Kim Ibarra (MBA, MSc) is the Director, Program Development & Research Operations, Knowledge Translation Program. Kim is a mission-driven leader passionate about improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes. She holds a Master of Science in health services research and bioethics from the University of Toronto and an executive MBA from Northwestern and York Universities.
Prior to joining the Knowledge Translation Program, Kim was a Senior Managing Director at the National Quality Forum (NQF) in Washington, DC where she built a new division focused on innovation and established a project management office to standardize program operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Kim also has experience working in Ontario and with international partners, having previously worked at Toronto Central Community Care Access Centre and the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics, and as a consultant to the Coalition for Children Affected by AIDS.
