Assessing barriers and facilitators to the diagnosis and treatment of iron deficiency anemia among pregnant patients

Summary

The project objective is to identify patient and provider barriers and facilitators to the diagnosis and treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) in pregnancy. Initial iterations of IRON MOM will provide a baseline understanding for this formative evaluation. Patient and clinical experts will form the project’s Steering Committee, and will be consulted throughout the process to ensure project relevancy and sensitivity.
