Summary

The Royal Society of Canada Working Group on Health Research System Recovery, in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), led an international knowledge exchange initiative to develop actionable recommendations to strengthen Canada’s health research system post-COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative involved a series of knowledge exchange sessions and surveys with leadership from health research funding agencies; leadership from research institutes; health, public health, and social care policy-makers; researchers; and members of the public.
