    Strengthening Canada’s Health Research System Post-Pandemic

    The Royal Society of Canada Working Group on Health Research System Recovery, in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), is holding a meeting to develop recommendations on ways to strengthen Canada’s Health Research system post-pandemic!     The Royal Society of Canada Working Group on Health Research System Recovery, in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), is holding a series of meetings that are part of an international knowledge exchange initiative. Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health research systems worldwide, the purpose of this initiative is to develop actionable recommendations to strengthen Canada’s health research system post-pandemic.

    Meetings will be held with leaders from health research funding agencies; health, public health, and social care policy makers; leaders from research institutes; individual researchers; members of the public and patients.

    We are currently recruiting members of the public, patients, and researchers to join the upcoming meeting. The meeting will take place virtually on January 27, 2023, 2PM – 5PM ET. Please click here for more information.

    To thank you for your time, members of the public and patients will receive $200.
