Wasifa Zarin (MPH, BHSc) is the research manager of the SPOR Evidence Alliance, which is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research funded initiative to facilitate high-quality evidence synthesis and guidelines development in Canada, and is based at the Knowledge Translation Program of St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto. She holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. She has a strong interest in the science of knowledge synthesis and its uptake in the decision-making process. She has been working in the Knowledge Translation Program since 2014 and has previously contributed to a range of knowledge synthesis products for decision-makers locally (Ontario Drug Policy Research Network), nationally (Health Canada), and internationally (World Health Organization).
