The findings will serve as a basis for the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services (MCSCS) to develop an evidence-based strategy to tackle OSI in frontline personnel. The published manuscript can be used to help inform the development and examination of interventions targeted to this population

There are promising prevention and rehabilitation interventions for first responders experiencing occupational stress injury (OSI), however, further investigation on their effectiveness is needed before broader implementation of these interventions
